Iceberg Projects is located on Sheridan Road in Chicago, positioned between two universities in one of the most economically and culturally diverse neighborhoods in the nation. Located behind the home of Daniel S. Berger MD and entered through his garden, Iceberg's private exhibition space is one of the most unique in the city. The design of the gallery, by Robert MacNeill, was realized through the renovation of a historic carriage house into a modern, light-filled space.

The focus of Iceberg Projects is to:
Be an exhibition space of a small institution that is distinct from the current Chicago art scene; it has a vision of providing substantial and relevant contributions. Iceberg holds programs for both established artists and select 'young and emerging' talent, often with those that have roots in Chicago. and to create cohesive programming that consistently challenges and - as often as possible - surprises.
Maintain a non-commercial status. Thus, artists will have a unique opportunity to exhibit their work without conventional financial responsibilities to the gallery, that are usually based on sales; Iceberg does not seek to sell nor profit from the art being exhibited here. However, artsts may sell their work independently.
Provide opportunities from which aspiring and established curators in the Chicago area can have a unique experience in a unique exhibition setting.
Provide a space from which art students may acquire internship opportunities.
Provide a forum for open conversation and discussion regarding art in Chicago and the world.
